We had sandwich and salad, both were delicious. But the real remark was the staff, incredibly friendly and nice. Will be back for sure

I've made it my mission to consume as many croissants as possible while in Paris and my mission brought me in here. The woman who runs the store was nice and very patient with my broken French. The croissants were good, not the best I have had on my trip so far but light and delicious. The chocolate traditional bread (not pictured because I inhaled it so fast) was the real star for me. It's the right amount of sweet without being overwhelming and has a nice fluffy texture with a firm outside. Definitely have to try it.

Great food and wonderful women. It is a bit pricey. Your typical Parisian bakery charges less than a euro for a baguette tradi but this place charges 1.40 for a significantly smaller version. If you are touring and eating out this is a great option, though, it's only out of the norm for groceries or daily use.
Again, the goods are fantastic. I can't try them all, but the bread is rich and soft and the woman serving me asked whether I wanted the bread from this morning or this afternoon and selected a baguette of my desired softer texture. When I went, around four, the place was empty with no lines which I see other reviews ran in to.

The service was great. There was only one cashier/server. She did everything from start to finish. A line quickly build up after I got there. The wait wasn't long though, everything was pre-made. I got the almond croissant and the madeleine. The croissant was a bit hard and not as flaky as other croissants I had in Paris. The taste was there but not the texture. As for the madeleine, it was dense as a brick. It was too dry for me to ingest, even with my hot chocolate to wash it down. The hot chocolate was also room temperature and not that creamy or hot. I would recommend going to The Smiths Bakery instead.

My favorite bakery in Paris! The shopkeeper was so sweet and helpful. We were picking up items to take on a picnic and she pointed out that they had specials which included a sandwich, dessert and drink. I think it was under 11 euros for each special. Fabulous! We purchased 3 sandwiches, a wonderful and fresh salad and 4 desserts. It was a magnificent picnic at the Luxembourg Gardens! I can't wait to pop back in for some more delicious goodies next time we are in Paris. Go check it out!
